Our 4th graders 2007/2008 met the famous Brazilian Pop Culture artists, Romero Britto on April 18, 2008.  Our 4th graders visited his gallery and was received by the artist and his mother.  The fourth grade students had reproduced the famous paintings of Britto during art class with their teacher Patricia Taieb. The students' drawings were autographed by Romero Britto.

Romero Britto is a modern day pop culture artist.  One of the premiere artist of our time. As the youngest and most successful Pop Artist of this generation, Britto has managed to create contemporary masterpieces that evoke a spirit of hope and convey a sense or warmth. Les eleves du CM1 ont rencontre, le 18 avril 2008, le celebre artiste peintre bresilien ROMERO BRITTO. Ils ont ete recus par lui-meme, sa mere et son frere dans son studio personnel et ensuite a sa galerie. Les eleves du CM1 avaient reproduit des oeuvres de BRITTO durant les classes d'art avec leur professeur Patricia Taieb. Leurs dessins ont ete dedicaces par le peintre en personne. Ils ont aussi recus des autographes de M. ROMERO BRITTO. ROMERO BRITTO est l'un des plus grands peintres d'art contemporain de sa generation. Il est mondialement connu.
